1 September 2010: The Butterfly Effect
The Butterfly Effect basically states that small, seemingly insignificant actions can cause large results. It is based on the effect of the wind generated by a butterfly flapping its wings. A butterfly's wing movements can affect the weather and possibly cause a tornado in a completely different part of the world. Due to small unknown factors large systems, like the weather, become impossible to predict.
